 The altar is situated in the central arch surrounded by the pictures of the twelve apostles with Jesus as corner stone (discovered 1962), and pictures of the moon (north) and the sun (south). The other pictures aren't clearly visible.

In the year 1742 or. 1749 the administrator  Johann Christoph Meyer and his wife Elisabeth died. It is estimated that their bodies were preserved by acid in the tomb and mummified them. This effect is only known once in south Germany. They were found in the early 19 hundreds.
